Alkali Metal Metal(ates) Containing Divalent Earth Abundant Transition Metals

چکیده

Recent advances in cooperative chemistry have shown the enormous potential of main group heterobimetallic complexes for functionalisation aromatic molecules. Going beyond metal chemistry, here we provide an overview on synthesis, structure and reactivity bimetallic which combine alkali-metal (AM= Li, Na) with a divalent earth-abundant transition (M= Mn, Fe, Co, Ni), containing utility silyl amide HMDS (HMDS = N(SiMe3)2). Advancing understanding how effects operate these (ate) systems, selected examples their applications deprotonative metalation are also discussed special emphasis constitution metalated intermediates.
